Abstract This product is a small scale map (i.e. 1:1000000 to 1:3000000 ) that depicts some Canada Land types described in section 24 of the Canada Lands Surveys Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. L-6 and managed by the Surveyor General Branch. It contains some background topographic information including administrative boundaries, provincial protected area, hydrography, and transportation features. The maps are available in PDF format.

The purpose of this map is to locate some Canada Land types as types described in section 24 of the Canada Lands Surveys Act, R.S.C., 1985, c. L-6 and managed by the Surveyor General Branch relative to other major geographical features. Administrative decisions should be based on legal documents and legal survey plans. The underlying basemap is presented as background information only.
